Jim picked us up right on time to take us to the airport. We got there in plenty of time, we boarded the plane and then we sat and sat! The cargo door would not close and it took them a long time to figure out how to close it. When they did, they then had to find everyone that had returned to the terminal. Of course there was one man that could not be located! After a two hour delay, we were finally on our way.
We loved sitting in first class for sooooo many reasons. Leg room, wine, movies, television programs, a wonderful 5 course meal and best of all---we were able to go through the fast track for customs when we arrived in London.
After we retrieved our luggage, we made it to British Midland Airways one hour before we were to depart for Munich. We arrived in Munich after an uneventful flight, picked up our car (we were up graded to a BMW x1) and then we set out for Werfen.
We had a lovely meal at the hotel in Werfen and now we are going to bed! I am so tired!!
